No batteries, easy install and guaranteed for 10 years. Each tag is read by the visitors phone and notifies you, with an option to contact them via text or video call. With standard video doorbells you only get one place for callers to contact you. With doortagg you can install multiple tags in different locations and you can be called from many different places.

Doortagg is also far more interactive than a simple video doorbell. You can choose how you want to contact your visitors, deciding how to deal with them at the time.

You can let them know you're coming with one click. If you're busy, request a message from them so you can decide if it is important. In or out, you can initiate a video call or send a simple chat message.

All these options allow you to screen your callers and interact in different ways depending on your requirements.

No. There's no ongoing fee for use. The doortagg app is free to download and all calls are free, only the cost of the mobile data used like a normal WhatsApp chat.

No. The householder has to have the doortagg app on their phone but any smartphone will activate the tag and allow them to call.

We supply two tags with every order, choose a light or dark design, so you can use just one and keep the other as a spare, or use both and you will receive notifications to your phone from whichever tag is tapped.

Yes. Each tag is uniquely registered to your phone with your name so multiple tags can be used in the same location. When a tag is tapped the visitor or delivery person knows who they are talking to.

You don't need a wifi connection. The phone tapping the tag must have data enabled. Your phone must also have data enabled to receive notifications.

All mobile phones built after 2017 will operate the doortagg system. Some phones older than 2017 (eg. iPhone 6 and older) will need to have background NFC reading manually turned on but there are few of these still used and less and less every day.

Payment is via most major credit and debit cards and is handled by Stripe, our payment processor. We don't store your card details, only your address information and contact details such as email, telephone etc. We also offer PayPal as a convenient solution.

We guarantee your tags for 10 years and will replace free of charge if one breaks.
